Instructions
1. Click "Start." Type "cmd" in the "Search" box and press "Enter."
2. Type "chkdsk x: /r" and press "Enter," replacing "X" with the letter of the corrupt NTFS drive.
3. Press "Y" to confirm.
4. Restart the computer. The disk will be checked and repaired at system start-up.
